Barrel Stave Coat and Hat Rack

     These rustic barrel stave hook racks will look great in your cabin, family room, mud room or tack house. They are made with  a  vintage solid white oak Sonoma Valley wine country barrel staves rugged iron hooks. The staves are 36-37 inches long, 3/4 inch thick, and various widths.  The staves are  sanded smooth, yet they keep a  vintage rustic look, you can see the marks where the metal barrel hoops hugged the staves holding the barrel together.We use fully extracted oak wine barrels that have outlived their usefulness. This is fine, tightly grained French oak and has the same quality that furniture builders dream of. This old quartersawn oak has a beautiful burnished hue and has been dried for many months, sometimes up to a year, which makes it less prone to shrinkage and a lot more stable for furniture construction than most new lumber on the market, yet no forests were plundered make these items, they are easy on the earth.
